Welcome to Vinny's Ventures ! Hi, I’m Vinny! After graduating from NDSU, I felt a strong urge to explore the world and immerse myself in its diverse cultures. So, I made a bold decision—to turn that dream into reality.
This year, I'm going on a global adventure, diving headfirst into new experiences, meeting incredible people, and embracing the beauty of different cultures. Now, I’m excited to share this journey with you.

Destinations
Japan (Sept 1st-Sept 30th)
My first trip will be to Japan. I'll be leaving the U.S. on September 1st at 11 AM and, due to the international date line, I'll arrive in Japan on September 2nd at 2:20 PM.
Once I land, the adventure truly begins. Although I've had layovers in Japan before, I've never had the chance to fully experience its unique culture, and I'm excited to finally immerse myself in it.
I've heard so much about the incredible vending machines in Japan, offering everything from hot meals to quirky gadgets, and I'm eager to try them out. Japan is renowned for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities, so there's a lot on my list—from visiting ancient temples and bustling markets to tasting authentic Japanese cuisine and exploring the neon-lit streets of Tokyo.
Join me as I dive into the heart of Japan and share my experiences, tips, and daily expenses. Whether it's the tranquility of a traditional tea ceremony or the excitement of discovering hidden gems, there's so much to do and see. Follow along as my journey begins here!
China (Oct 1st- Nov 30th)
My next adventure? In just two weeks, I’ll be wrapping up my time in Japan and heading to my next destination—China. I’ll leave at 3:45 p.m. and land in Beijing at 6:45 p.m., beginning a two-month journey that holds deep personal significance for me.
China is where half of my heritage lies, with my mother being from here, and this trip is my chance to connect with that part of myself. It’s not just about visiting; it’s about immersing myself in the culture, understanding my roots, and experiencing life as my family has known it.
After spending time in Beijing, I’ll be heading to Shanghai, the city where my family is from. I’m looking forward to exploring both the modern vibrancy and the traditional aspects of these cities. Along the way, I’ll be spending time with family, learning more about the customs, language, and history that have shaped who I am.
